Eternal Spiral Project (ESP) emerges from a desire to build upon the ancient, living traditions of magic, art, and meaning-making. Here on earth we all have the potential for extrasensory perception, not just the “gifted” or “special”. This is where we experience complexity, art, sensitivity, evolution—things worth fighting for. Through art and expanded perception, we communicate beyond the limitations of language and circumstance, illuminating the truth of our nature.

Using upcycled textiles and mixed media, Haven E. A. Douglas creates wall hangings, sculptural figures, garments, writings, and other art objects. Her work examines themes of liminality, symbolic systems, the alchemical dimensions of struggle, and mysticism as technology within the ever shifting zeitgeist.

This unfolding operation exists as Eternal Spiral Project (ESP). The ESP cycle investigates, unravels and reweaves the dichotomies of avant-garde/craft, physical/digital, personal/collective, good/evil and traditional/futuristic. Cultural artifact guides the story, stitching together the future and the past.
